The filter that starts everything: fee/TVL
On a normal day, a 24h fee/TVL print of 10% is a strong number for a DLMM pool. Some memecoin pools print 50% and up. Those are the pools this strategy hunts.
Screener tools like tokleo or Fabriq list pools by fee yield. Sort by 24h fee/TVL, then apply sanity filters: the token should be at least 24 hours old and carry a market cap of roughly $300K or more.
Build a basket, not a bet
A single memecoin position is a gamble. A basket is an odds play. The core rules: hold 15 or more tokens, size every position equally, and accept that you cannot know which one runs and which one dies.
Range choice controls the character of the trade. Wide ranges from -50% down to -95% below current price were tested in the source strategy; the tighter -50% side is hardcore but fees arrive almost instantly. Spot or a 50/50 spot-plus-bid-ask split both work as shapes.
The mindset is the strategy
Judge the basket by total portfolio PnL, not by any single position. Do not set per-token targets, do not close winners on bounces, and do not touch the fees while the basket is live.
A token that rugs to -99% gets left alone. There is nothing left to save, and the print from the rest of the basket covers it. Typical holds run 15 to 24 hours, closing everything when portfolio PnL looks good.
When this works and when it does not
This only works when many tokens are printing hard at the same time. The high average print is what covers the drawdowns. In a normal market you will not find enough pools printing this hard, so the basket loses its edge.
Known trap: high-fee/TVL memecoins are often bundled or wash-traded. Ask who is actually buying. No organic buyers means no pump to sell into. One documented run of this style returned +53.5 SOL in a single day, but the author himself called it gambling and closed it when the print started dropping.
- Filter: 24h fee/TVL 10%+ (50%+ for the degen version)
- Token age: 24h minimum, market cap $300K+
- Basket: 15+ tokens, equal size each
- Range: -50% to -95% below price, spot or 50/50 bid-ask
- Exit: portfolio-level, after 15-24h or when print fades
